Dr. Christine Farag, MD is the founder and medical director of MindWell MD. She is a board-certified physician and neuroscientist specializing in concussion evaluation, traumatic brain injury, and brain health. With a background in psychiatry and neuroscience research, Dr. Farag combines advanced neurological assessment with evidence-based treatment to help patients recover from concussion and restore cognitive and emotional function.
Education & Training
Dr. Farag earned her Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine after completing a degree in Neuroscience at the University of Pennsylvania, where she was recognized on the Dean’s List for academic excellence.
She completed her adult psychiatry residency at Carle Foundation Hospital in Illinois, where she received honors including Resident of the Year and the Advancement in Psychiatry Award.

She has also been invited to speak at numerous institutions and medical centers, sharing expertise on brain health, neuroscience, mindfulness, and nutritional psychiatry.

Dr. Christine Farag is a physician, neuroscientist, and invited speaker whose scholarly work spans psychiatry, neuroscience, brain health, and concussion recovery. Her research has been published in respected scientific journals, and she has presented at national and international conferences, including the International Congress on Integrative Medicine & Health.
Dr. Farag has been invited to lecture at leading academic institutions and medical centers such as Brown University, Kaiser Permanente, Temple University, Rowan University School of Medicine, Loyola University, the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, and the University of Illinois Chicago.
Dr. Farag has also delivered two TEDx talks on brain health and mental wellness. Her work integrates neuroscience research with clinical psychiatry to advance understanding of concussion, brain injury, cognitive health, and evidence-based approaches to mental and neurological care.
